February 11 is the day we celebrate the 51st anniversary of the promise to meet the unfulfilled demands of the people.
Dr. Debretsion Gebremichael said he would like to see the situation resolved peacefully, but if not, it will be resolved.
This was stated by the Chairman of the TPLF, Dr. Debretsion Gebremichael. The 51st anniversary ceremony will be held in Mekelle on February 11.
Dr. Debretsion said February 11 is a day of remembrance for all those who have made sacrifices for the people.
A spokesman for the Tigers expressed disappointment over the loss of the Tigers.
He noted that despite the conflict being officially ended by the Pretoria Agreement, it has not been fully implemented in the past three years, leaving the people of Tigray in serious trouble.
The 51st anniversary celebration on February 11 will be observed as a day of commitment to fulfill the unaddressed demands of the people.
He emphasized that even though three years have passed since the Pretoria Agreement, it has been violated by the federal government.
As we commemorate February 11, we must not only remember the past but also acknowledge the challenging circumstances of the present.
He stated it is time for a peaceful resolution but also time to move forward.
At the ceremony, the President of the Interim Administration of Tigray, Lieutenant General Tadesse Downde, along with the senior leadership of the Interim Administration and the TPLF organization, will be present.
